[Kenwood] Kenwood TS-850

Hello all! My name is Mark, W4TGB.

I own a highly reliable TS-850 that has just developed a power output issue.

At somewhat random times, when I key the transmitter in RTTY or other full 
carrier mode, the output power will go to full output and then drop off to 
nearly zero within about 3 seconds and then back to full power.

In some cases, the rig will go to full power, drop to near zero and then 
back to full power followed by another drop to near zero and then to full 
power... repeat...

Has anyone else seen this issue? Any thoughts on a repair?
