[Kenwood] TL-922A question

There is something obviously wrong here.
Either there is something wrong with the AMP itself or you  are not 
tuning it up correctly as you say, "

I have the feeling that everything is "right","

I have had a few of these in my lifetime and 75 watts MAX or so was all it took to make 1500 key down  on a Bird watt meter output.

What are the meters saying?
