Hi All, 

Overwhelmed with the many responses, thank you. 
Thought I had enough time to dig into it to see what else might be wrong. 
Got ordered in to work after just getting the covers off. 

Good news: no residual smell of burnt components. Hopefully I got lucky. 
Further investigation prior to ordering any parts from the multiple sources I was 
referred to. 

2 fan motors, two different sizes and part numbers. I wouldn't even try to guess their 
dimensions. Heard many guys are just using computer fans when the spec fans go out 
on 930/940's.
