[Kenwood] Kenwood TS-570DG and Windows 7 on a new 64 bit computer

Recently my old computer running Windows XP crashed. I had interfaced this computer to my TS-570DG via a com1 port and using CW using a JBI interface from the rig to an LPT1 port.

I now have a new 64 bit computer running Windows 7 professional and naively had a card installed with a com port and a serial LPT port as in the old computer. I have tried everything that I can think of but am unable to get the TS-570 to talk to the computer.

Does anyone have experience with this type of problem? Is a cable available with a USB connector on connect to the rig? Also is their a device that I could purchase that will handle the CW interface? I had been using Win-EQF* to handle the CW but the 64 bit computer presents more problems with Win-EQF*.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
