Hi Jim,

I don't have a radio like yours but I would have asked you about timers,
too (I'm slowed down with the digest mode). Once upon a time I had
exactly the same problem with a boat anchor Hammarlund receiver. All
tubes. All analog. Electric, motor driven clock/*timer*. The more things
change the more they stay the same.

I hate when I do embarrassing things like that <laughs>.
