[Kenwood] Kenwood and Yaesu mics

I just picked up a used FT-2000 and noticed the front panel mic connection is the same as used by my Kenwood TS-450 and TS-850.   Can someone tell me if the plug wiring is the same?  Can I swap mics without rewiring the plugs?
