[Kenwood] outputs for Kenwood 599 twins

 Going to have to replace the outputs on the twins..plain 599's... they are currently Kenwood 2001's in the rig. I have looked at a bunch of web sites ,seems everybody has a different opinion of what tube replaces the 2001. The majority seem to think its a 6146B or W,that is what I need. I keep remembering the problems I had with trying to neutralize 6146b's in a kwm-2a,wouldn't work, 6146a's worked just fine. Anyone able to help me out on this?
