Kenwood TH-41 AT, 440 MHz HT:

The TH-41 is a fully synthesized, small HT, about the size of
a deck of cards.  It has thumbwheel selection of frequency.
The + or - offset is selected by a switch on the back, as is
high and low power.  It is very easy to use, and  has a bit
over 1 W output in high power and 1/3 W in low power.  Touch
tone (DTMF) pad is on the front.

This one looks good.  It transmits well, but the receive audio
is a bit low.  It is there, but seems low to me.  To put it
another way, it needs the volume control turned up all the way,
and even then the audio is lower than I would like.  Use it as
it is, fix it up, use it for transmitter "fox hunts", or whatever
you might think of.

This is the HT only for $20.  I have both operating and service
manuals on CD that I will include.


Accessories for the TH-21 / 31 / 41 series HTs:

Kenwood W09-0315 charger
This charger is used to charge the larger PB-21 H batteries for
the TH-21 series, and may also be used on other Kenwood radios.

DEAD Kenwood PB-21 battery pack
This battery pack is used on the TH-21 series HTs.  This one is dead,
but can be used for rebuilding.  It is in good physical condition,
with no cracks.  $10

DEAD Kenwood PH-21 H battery pack
This is the heavy duty (high capacity) battery back used with the
TH-21 series HTs.  The batteries in it are dead, but it can be sued to
put a new "insert" in, or for building a 12 V DC adapter.  Physically
it is in good shape.  $10

Kenwood Rubber duck antenna for the TH-21 HT
This is the original RA-6, 2 meter rubber duck.  $15

Kenwood SC-13 Vinyl Case
For TH-215, TH-225 and others, with room for the larger
PB-1 and PB-4 battery packs. It can also be used with
the smaller PB-2 and PB-3 packs. Black color. Great

Kenwood BH-2 Belt clip with screws
Used on the above HTs, plus many other Kenwood HTs. $8

Antenna adapter to fit the BNC connector on the HT
and provide an SO-239 connector that will permit
a PL-259 to be attached. (BNC male to UHF female) $5


Kenwood PG-3 E Filtered Cigarette Lighter Cable

This cable is used to power the Kenwood TH-215 series, TH-225
series, TH-25, TH-75, and other Kenwood HTs. It plugs into
a cigarette lighter, and filters the noise that is produced
by the alternator.

This one is NOS (New, Old Stock), still in its original blister
pack. $15


HT Speaker Microphones:

MFJ 286 Speaker Microphone
This was used on a Kenwood TH-225 HT, but it also fits the
TH-21/31/41 series HTs, TH-205, TH-215, TH-415, as well as
others. It has a 3 conductor 3.5 mm plug and a 2 conductor
2.5 mm plug. It works fine. $12

MFJ-287 Speaker Microphone
Fits same HTs as the MFJ 286 above, but is a smaller more
compact speaker mic. It works fine, and looks close to new. $15

Azden SDX-316 Speaker Microphone
Although it has an Azden name plate, it will also work
with Icom, some Yaesu, and Alinco that needs 3.5 mm and
2.5 mm plugs.
This is the rounder style speaker mic that fits nicely in
the palm of your hand. $20
