[Kenwood] Kenwood TS 850 Display Delay

My TS 850 has been having a display problem.   When turning the set on there
is about an 8 second delay before the frequency display appears.  The rest
of the set works fine. One day the display wouldn't even come on at all.
After doing some research on the web,  I replaced a 460 mf, 16 volt
capacitor as well as the other two 100 mf, 16 volt capacitors that were on
the display circuit board repaired a broken trace.  The display was working
once more, but I am getting the 8 second delay before the display appears.
Does anyone know what the problem could be and what the fix is.  Thanks.
