I like it. Several years ago, I owned a TS-570S and was VERY disappointed in
that radio. Selectivity was poor, AGC pumped like crazy and that CW keyer
never worked properly. Sold it without regret. High end radio ? Not many ops
that I know own anything above a PRO III price-point. If this radio is
priced within reason, and not blow the drivers every 5 seconds (Icom), it
should be a good fit in the mid priced market. If it has that fine Kenwood
audio - receive and transmit - sharp DSP selectivity and silky tuning, I
will be the first in line to buy one.
I'm one who feels that ALL Kenwood radios look sexy - including the TS-2000.
This new radio has gone back to the "box" look, which admittedly I prefer,
and it looks pretty sharp to me !  Please Kenwood - get the keyer right,
keep the TFSET function, retain that TS450 and beyond QSK and bring that NR2
up from under the water - and I come home again,
