[Kenwood] Garmin NUVI 350 and & 710D

Hello,
Having trouble getting the Nuvi 350 to receive information correctly from the 710D.  It seems to be cutting off the call signs partially. Example: A 2x3 KB5UNY call may show on the NUVI 350 as 5UNY.  Any suggestions?  The NUVI 350 is connected to the 710D with the Argent Data (Opentracker People) cable designe for the interface betwee the 710 and the NUVI.  Also, the position is not being transmitted.

Has anyone used this combonation, NUVI 350 and the 710D with the Argent Data cable?  If so, please give a step by step programming of the 710D for this combination.  We must be missing something in the 710D menu setup.
