[Kenwood] re use of 10 meters on TL-922A

He's an authorized Kenwood repair station owner.  He also frequents this 
list.

You're friend probably has one that was originally sold to a U.S. 
Dealer.  Since the overly rabid use of Amateur Amplifiers by the CB, 
(Citizens Band), on 11 mtrs, they can't sell amplifiers down here with 
10 mtr capability.  It usually requires an add-on from the 
manufacturer.  Essentially "Crippled Engineering"!  A bureaucratic move 
that hasn't really worked out very well.  It has been mainly an 
annoyance to the Ham community.
