[Kenwood] Deaf 950SDX

I wonder if anyone can help me with this...
 TS950SDX suddenly went deaf.  On switch on, the S meter slowly climbs 
until it reaches full scale on all modes except FM.  There is no output 
from the speaker.  The squelch is OFF.. It transmits all modes OK. The 
sub RX is working, but sounds  a bit deaf. The AF amp is OK. The Sub RX 
indicates that the attenuators and AIP are working OK. My first 
impression is that it's an I/F problem.
    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
