[Kenwood] TS-950SD

I hate to say but I am still confused and it looks like a few people who own 
these don't know how to use it either. In my manual page 13 makes no mention 
of Proc.

I have the SD model and S/ SD manual. Someone said the SD only transmits DSP 
and the SDX does both?

On page 24 it shows the way to turn things on and off. Like hold voice when 
turning on the radio to turn the beep off. It say 455 for DSP. How does one 
hold 455 while turning on the radio?
