[Kenwood] TS-850 Encoder Help Needed

Sorry for asking again but maybe I hit the holiday weekend and Dayton period
and many missed my message.  I do appreciate the couple replies I got since
the obvious is a lot of times the problem.  I did try reseting and verifying
no problem with the battery.  I also had another say they had the same
problem without an answer for it.
