And, from what I remember, no one has come up with a replacement CRT for
the 220 if it goes belly-up. Personality, the SM-220 is getting to be
less of a value to have in the long run. Visual transmitter monitors are
easily attainable using an off-the-shelf type flea market scope and a
simple RF pickup. Spectrum analyzing /panadapter, with far greater
accuracy then attainable by the SM-220, can be had with some simple SDR
software/hardware and computer.
