[Kenwood] SM-220 parts

All,

Those of you who own an SM-220, would you please do me a favor and take a
look at something on your unit.

I just bought mine off of e-bay about 10 days ago or so and I'm getting a
chance to really take a look at it. Cosmetically, it's about a 9. I don't
have an antenna so I can't test some things but it does power up.

I took the top cover off and the two shafts for the Function switch and RF
Att switch have a plastic coupler that connect to the shielded case in the
right back corner are both cracked.

It looks like they have been super glued on one and the other has a huge
wrapping of green electrical tape around the other. It appears that this
tape has been there for some time.

Should I be concerned? It appears that what ever fix someone did, it's
holding. The two switches turn just fine. But I don't know at what point
they may fail.

If I wanted to replace these two plastic couplers, where could I find
replacements? What are the part numbers, etc. I'm somewhat of a stickler
for electronic appearance and it just doesn't look that great. All be it,
it is functional.

Any information/guidance from someone who has more experience than me would
be appreciated. I have never owned one of these monitors until now.

73,

John KD7KFT
