Back when a guy could build PC's and make money doing it I was using
Stabilant to treat all CPU, card edge, data cable and memory connectors.  I
never had to diagnose or repair connection based problems, just the usual
user stupidity.

One of those machines (my personal work PC from when I was still fixing
cars) is an ABIT 503+ based computer that sits out in the environment here
in Arizona. While it is under cover, it is not protected from the
temperature or humidity extremes.  Runs year round whether it's 115F and
dry, 110 and humid (for us @ 20%) or 35F and really humid.  Two monitors and
a HDD have bit the dust but the rest of it is original and functions
flawlessly, something that still amazes me.

Your comment about the card edge treatment reminded me.

Quite a few companies have a in house part number for it and dispense it
readily.

I started using Stabilant 22A many years ago, when I discovered an IT
technician using it to cure noise problems on card-edge connectors in
desktop computers.  Later, I learned that Motorola found it so useful in
radio systems that it was assigned a Motorola part number- 1180369E78.  It
has a proven track record, and I find no reason to experiment with any other
product.  I know that Stabilant 22A works, every time.  Since deOxit works
on a different principle, I would not expect it to compete with Stabilant.
