[Kenwood] re use of 10 meters on TL-922A

Joe,

It's not that easy to write off-the-cuff remarks that will not P-O
someone, somewhere.

We strive to keep the hobby free of the lost CB'er, yes, but not like
that. The best way, in my opinion, is to simply ignore these types of
requests.

Your blood pressure will thank you. If this fellow is a ham, he will be
able to get the information he needs eventually. If he's not a ham,
he'll probably still get the info. Hopefully, once he looks at the
conversion process for this amp, he will forget about it. Kenwood did a
pretty thorough job of disabling ten meters on the '922.

It's not a job for the faint-of-heart or the "golden screwdriver" crowd.

Now, too all those who dissed Joe... We have far too many CB apologists
out there who will provide info such as was asked for to anyone, no
questions asked.

The one question that should be asked, even if Joe did it the wrong way
is: What do you need this information for? As a secondary: is this for CB?

The answers to those two questions are most important to anyone who
wants to provide modification directions to a third party.
