[Kenwood] ARCP480 and windows xp pro

I just tried it using XP Home. You have to turn on control first. Go to the 
"Control" menu at the top and turn on control. The PC will connect to the 
radio and then the Off/On button works.

Hi. My name is Joe and I'm new to the list. I recently installed a mother 
board and upgraded my windows ME PC to XP pro. Since then, I can't turn my 
480 SAT on with the free control software. I can read all the buttons when I 
open the software, but can't seem to power up the rig. However. I am able to 
still use the KNS with the computer to control a remote rig that I have 
access to. Can anyone tell me what's wrong? Does this software work with XP 
pro? or does it only work with the home version. Thanks in advance and 73.
