Are you referring to the heat sink for IC37-IC38? If so it is referenced in
the service manual pg 84, location 4G as A1 and in the parts list as PN
F01-1005-04.

Subject: [Kenwood] TS-870 Shield Plate

Hello Group

I recently purchased a 96 model TS-870. When checking the radio eproms
I noticed some solder pads on the TX/RX board. Upon investigation I
find this is where an "L" shaped shield plate is soldered. NOT ON MY
UNIT.
Does anyone know when this part was introduced/dropped? or where I can
purchase same. I believe Kenwood don't have them and this part is not
listed in the service manual copy I have.

Anyone have a DEAD TX/RX board WITH THIS PART FITTED FOR SALE????

Thanks in advance
Trevor
