[Kenwood] TS-530 problem

Thanks, looks like that's very well what happened. I pulled the radio apart 
and what I found, the rear most final tube, the connector on top was pretty 
well disconnected, there was slight contact made but not much at all and 
it's extremely loose when I put it back on,weather that's cause as I suspect 
or effect, I'm not sure, but there's definitely a blown resister on the 
board near that socket. I don't have anything here right now to replace it 
with, but I think I'll call a friend later on who I'm sure does and we'll 
check it out and get a better look at the rest of them, tubes look old too 
so I'm debating just junking them but where I'm not planning to keep that 
radio anyway, I hate to put much money in it, or any more time than I have 
to. I don't have room for it anyway, I don't see many sold as repairman's 
specials or for parts so I have no clue what I'd get for it as is.
