[Kenwood] TM-733 2-440 moblle tone problem

I have a tm-733 mobile transceiver and the 85.4 hz tone is not working or
set right. The 100 hz tone is working. A fellow ham who has since moved away
adjusted something and it started working on the local repeater.  I remember
he said the 85.4 hz is the most difficult to attain. I have the service but
could not find anything on this. Any help would be appreciated.
