That's not exactly true. East Coast Parts (operating as
www.kenwoodparts.com ) is the US distributor for Kenwood parts, obtaining their
inventory directly from Kenwood in Japan. It is true that some TS-950SDX parts 
are no longer available, but that is no different than any other modern rig that 
has ceased to be manufactured. It simply reflects that the manufacturing of
many semiconductors is discontinued when it becomes unprofitable.
