[Kenwood] Kenwood JVC Merger

Hello,

Now that JVC (Japan Victor Company, owned by Matsushita/Panasonic) and
Kenwood have announced that they plan to become one company by October
1st of this year, does anyone have any idea what this may mean for
Kenwood's amateur radio division?

I would assume this would have LOTS to do with Kenwood Audio Division and 
very little to do with the Amateur Radio division, since JVC is noted to be 
in the audio business.
Just my 2 cents.
