[Kenwood] Kenwood TR 7950

Mines been like that for a long time also.
I'm thinking its the internal battery but never bothered to mess with it.
I'm interested too see what the solution is also..

I'm having trouble with the readout, on a couple, of TR 7950. The radios 
work well but the display is scrambled. I would appreciate any help.
