[Kenwood] Re: TS-940S Off/On switch

Hi Rick,

 I 'repaired' the POWER switch on my TS-930 ( exactly the same switch as in
your 940 ) by retensioning the latching spring. This helped for a while, but
after a couple of months, the old problem ( it wouldn't latch on )
reoccured. Things were just worn out. 

Eventually, I installed a replacement switch. They're still available from
Kenwood, but using a substitute part number. You'll have to drop the front
panel to do the swap.
