[Kenwood] KW TS-430

Does anyone know if the IC-10 modification will work on the 430 to
allow remote control?
I have a 450 which I remote control at my shack and over ethernet
cable from my office in my house, friend purchased a 430 and is
interested in doing the same.
I know the 440 has a place for the IC-10, my 450 had it builtin, but
not sure about the 430.
I remember the 430 had very few options builtin, kind of a box with a
list of stuff that had to be bought separately.
