[Kenwood] Knob wanted

    I believe the knob Ron is looking for is the Kenwood KB-1 weighted knob. 
They haven't been available for some years now. About 10 years ago, maybe 
more, I checked with Kenwood Canada, who in turn checked with Kenwood-Trio 
in Japan, for one of these knobs to no avail. I finally latched onto one 
privately. Shortly after, I changed radios from Kenwood to Yaesu and sold 
the knob to a friend of mine for his 850.
I've since gone back to Kenwood but my friend won't sell the knob back to 
me!
    Anyway Ron, you can try putting out wants for the Kenwood KB-1 knob and 
maybe you'll get lucky!

BTW....the knob is a brownish colour, probably from some very ancient 
Kenwood equipment, and doesn't really match the 820/830 series of radios. It 
really looks strange on my friend's black 850, but he loves it!
