Did you replace the chokes and resistors on the grids of the 3-500's? With
all the other stuff they are probably toast also.

I still need some help getting the 922 up & going. Replaced the 3-500Z's,
replaced the stud mount Zener which was bad along with the 0.68, 1.0, & 1.5k
ohm resistors on the meter board. I have filament voltage & the tube's light
up & HV of 2200 cw & 3100 ssb. Checked the plate voltage which is good,
safety switches both work. When I key it up relays work ok but watt meter
goes up to about 100 watts & falls off to zero. Now this may sound out there
but I'm running out of ideas, do new tubes now a days on the plate cap have
a coating that needs to be removed? It acts like I have voltage on the plate
cap but not to the tubes??? Many of you have gave me some good ideas &
thanks for all your emails & phone calls. I must be over looking some small
thing here but can't find it & I'm hitting a brick wall. Please help, Rick
