[Kenwood] TS-930 Display goes to dots Serial # 3,070,XXX

Have a TS-930 that plays great but from time to time the display flickers and goes to dots.   Continues to receive on the same frequency and works but lose the Display.

This is serial Number 3,070,XXX.

Any tips or help appreciated.
