Hello Rob,

If you are unable to locate a used replacement crystal, try International Crystals in Oklahoma City, OK or Jan's Crystals in Florida. Both have website that you can read about the crystals they sell. I'm sure others may have additional crystal manufacturers but these are the two I've done business with before and found no difficulty with either of them. I will say, both companies take a few weeks before you receive the crystal. I recently purchases a 40 meter replacement crystal for my Drake R4C from International Crystals and it was right on frequency, exactly what the circuit required and the cost was $20 plus $5 shipping.

Hi Everyone,

Anyone have a parts TS-520S that that still has the 22.895 MHz
heterodyne oscillator crystal (for 20 meters)? It is located on the
under chasis, about an inch in from the bandswitch, and is an HC-49 size
xtal. Mine went south. The oscillator wouldn't oscillate on 20 meters,
so after checking the switch connections, I unsoldered the xtal and
tested it with a signal generator and oscilloscope. It is dead.

Thanks & 73,

Rob, KL7NA
