I was recently given a non-working TS-930S/AT. It needs a bit of cleaning but
appears to be a complete radio. I have a printed copy of the service manual
(from a PDF file) but would love to find a large, foldout type schematic as the
ones in the PDF manual are broken up into 8 1/2 X 11 pages and are REALLY hard
to follow!

The radio appears to have power supply issues. I've gotten as far as
checking the 28.5 VDC and it is good. I also have a copy of W6NL's
modifications for the 930 power supply. His modifications cover radios from SN
310XXXX and up. My radio is SN 307XXXX and it appears that the power supply
sections are quite different as the "before" pictures from his writeup
don't look like the radio that I have. In inspecting the wiring, it
doesn't look like the power supply section of my radio was modified in any
way.

I'd also be interested in purchasing a "real" Kenwood service
manual with the large, foldout schematics. I'm sure I can get the thing
going eventually!
