[Kenwood] HC-10 clock caveat

Hi guys,

A year or so ago, I was interested in obtaining an HC-10. I thought that I
had one nailed down locally, until I tried it out, prior to purchase.

These units are all at least 15-20 years old. They use a vacuum fluorescent
display. Over time, VFDs will develop dim areas leading to a less than
desirable appearance. If the clock has been used continually for many years,
this is probably its condition.

I've also looked at several offerings on e-Bay, with the same result. Look
very closely at the display for non-uniformity.

I eventually gave up looking. Hope you have better luck.
