[Kenwood] TH-F6 Battery Charger

I've misplaced the battery charger that came with my TH-F6. I've been
using the auto charger, but the weather is getting warmer, and I don't want
to overheat the rig in the car. My question is (until I get another Kenwood
charger) can I use a 9V charger at ?ma/A? Any help is greatly appreciated.
