[Kenwood] Ts-930s question regarding the buzzer?

Never heard of a buzzer on a -930.  Haven't used a -930 much in a while. 

On the fan.  The fan is designed for a side load since the motor was
designed for side pressure (not for use as a fan).  So, there was a retrofit
kit that included a metal "spring" that you installed that pushed sideways
on the shaft.  Any Beryllium copper piece would work.  Go here, 7th down

Good Afternoon All.

I recently purchased this rig and the manual does not explain what the
buzzer is all about. There is an adjustment for it, but I have not found
it's purpose. Maybe I am missing something, but I haven't been able to make
it buzz. Buzzing usually means bad, or the mother in law is at the door,
also bad. What is it's purpose?

Has anyone tried the roofing filter?

Does anyone have a quiet power supply fan that they would be willing to
sell?
