[Kenwood] Ailing TS-940

It looks like my first approach will be to try isolating the component
causing my disappearing display.  This will be done with the application of
freeze spray.  If this doesn't find the cause then a visit to the doctor is
next.  Since I have had problems in shipping this heavy beast to Florida I
will hand carry it this time.  Communications Electronics in Hebron, Ohio is
within a reasonable driving distance for me.  With John, KI4NR, out of the
picture the drive to Hebron makes sense to me.  It is a plus that my son and
his family live not far from there.  I couldn't pass up a chance to see my
year old granddaughter.
