[Kenwood] Kenwood TM-271A programming

I need some help with the Windows software application. I added some 
receive only frequencies to the memory channels in using the MCP-1A 
software and tried to write them to the radio. I did not get an error 
but the radio does not show the changes.

My ham freq channels are on channels 0-10 so I put the recv only ones 
in 11-18. I am able to write them manually to the radio. I do not 
completely understand the U/L 0-2 setup so have not used it. The radio 
has not been changed from the default programmable VFO range nor have 
I set up any group scan. I guess the software does not have the 
capability for menu changes anyway.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
