[Kenwood] Retiring a rig number

In sports, teams will often retire the number of a
superstar, showing that no one can live up to his or
her performance and serve as a replacement. I wonder
if the same thing is happening with rigs. Yaesu and
Kenwood have shared many of the same model numbers,
including 450/950/480/680/690/790/50/60/2000. Yaesu
and Icom have also shared model numbers, including the
707/726/736/703.

But to the best of my knowledge, no other manufacturer
has used the 850 as a model number. I have owned a
TS850SAT, and must say that if its number hasn't been
retired yet, it definitely should be. How do we go
about making this official?
