[Kenwood] TS930

I have a question regarding transformer on this radio.Seems transformer heats up to where top cover near frontpanel is very warm.. I find this unusual because I have another TS930 and I can leave it on 24 hours and never gets warm at all.I noticed power has dropped off as well,use to get at least 125 watts but as soon as radio heats up power drops.Fans all work on radio.So I assuming  its the transformer. How can I check it out.? Also power is lower on 160 meters than 75 meters. Example on 160 meters around 60 watts and on 75 meters its at least double.
