[Kenwood] Vfo-230 Mod

Anyone out there ever heard of a mod to reduce the Vfo230 turns speed to 
about 6kc per dial revolution.  Standard thing is to cut a bunch of 
diodes and I guess that works Ok.  But, I want my cake and eat it too.  
I want the 6kc thing when I want it and the original 25kc too, so I can 
move around the band fast but have the slow "tune 'em in" ability.  All 
help appreciated.  Thanks, Ron.
