Tom:
I have a lot of info here since I bought a 430 last winter. I have that
problem on the BPF that controls the 10 to 15 MHZ section. Try contacting
Chris HB9BJL at hb9bjl at uska.ch.MODIFICATION.NET I found a note he left in
the mods.dk web www.mods.dk
He said he found a source for the FUJITSU relays that are used and replaced
them. I have that problem but I can live with it since I like 40 meter CW
and don't get on that much, I like the radio and have a ton of inf for it
if you are interested.
When I get around to removing the LPF CCA I found you can remove the covers
to get at the contacts to clean them. I do delicate work as a profession
but unless you are experienced with delicate work you can mess up the
contact pressure and alignments.

Hi,
I tried cleaning the relays with a power supply as Kenwood suggested but
that only lasted a week.
Does anyone have the part number and a source for replacement relays I can
buy?
Thanks,
Tom, WA3REY
