Hi,
Don't want this to stray off topic but thinking it might be of interest
to a few on here.
Several people have mentioned both on here and on the TS-930 yahoo group
that the TS-940 yahoo group seems to be unavailable. That is it seems
impossible to register. I just checked and the groups listed
owner/moderator is W8FRD. QRZ.com lists the call and there is a web page
at qsl.net. The web page also mentions a 570 group that also looks quiet
but another 570 group seems very active.
I don't "DO' groups other than as a member but seems it might be a good
idea to either consolidate the 930 group into a joint operation for both
radios, they do say they welcome 940 owners too so that should be ok, or
maybe another 940 specific group is needed. Should not be too much
trouble to lift all the useful info on the current 940 group to another
group.
So whose gonna do it?
If anybody wants to see the documents Thomas has produced but cannot
access the 940 group do let me know and I'll send them on.
Cheers
