Yeah,

I had one in mine too and it worked great. Anyone have the Inrad 
roofing filter in their 940 yet? Havent checked to see if it was 
available yet.

I don't believe there is a way to adjust the "rate" of main tuning on 
the stock 940. I have had a "Giehl chip" in mine for 20 years, which 
allows you to choose one of four tuning rates with the four position 
switch inside the top door which gives you selection of 1, 2, 5 or 10 
kHz per revolution of the Main Tuning knob, along with several other 
features. I don't know, but I believe it is still available for about 
$50 from
