[Kenwood] TS-930S intermittent VFO?

Hi guys,

I have a really nice 930s (6 million plus) serial # and have noticed lately that the VFO acts a little weird.  If I turn the VFO KNOB slowly,  sometimes the freq. will not change,  and sometimes the freq. will oscillate back and forth like...  .13   .14   .13   .14   .13  and so on.  Has anyone seen this happen before.  I have tried it with the 10 Hz mod and without...it doesn't make any difference..
