[Kenwood] programming the tm-g707a kenwood transceiver via computer usb ports

i own a kenwood tm-g707a transceiver and i'm trying to
program it via my laptop computers usb port since i
have no 9 pin port. i have my usb port set to 1 and
the radios program write port to 1 but i'm not able to
load frequencies into the radio.
there are phonix police frequencies from the previous
owner so i know it can be programed via computer.
i need help programming the radio vis usb port. i
really do not want to remove the radio and program it
from my base computer if i can get help in setting up
a way to program my radio.
