[Kenwood] Dead TS940

I know there arr two batteries in the rig. I think that I read someware that
if the battery (not for the display) dies the radio will not turn on. If
some one else can verify this go to the 940 web page and it tells how to
change the batteries.

If there are no lights at all coming on I would check to be sure I had AC
through the power on/off switch as my next step.

 Good ideas, but the outlet is live the cord is good, the primary and
secondary fuses are good. The send button is not engaged. All button have
been tested and set to where they should be for the initial power on.

Any other thoughts.


The obvious first; is it plugged in to an "live" outlet; is the fuse blown;
is there an internal secondary fuse.
