Greetings: I just brought home a TS820-s w/o the finals and other issues. My question is the DG-1 counter and display have been removed. Can the radio be used without this assy. being installed once it has been installed?? I am making up a power cord to check it out. Best Regards, Ralph Howes W8BVH
