[Kenwood] Anyone Using TM-V7A Remote Control?

Is anyone using the remote control feature of their
TM-V7A, please?

Before a try to plow through the manual and figure
it out I'd sure appreciate a heads-up as to real-
world functionality.

Best I can tell this is the only rig out there
that offers both cross-band repeat and HT remote
control.

The Alinco DR-635T looks like a versatile rug as
well but doesn't mention HT remote control.
