[Kenwood] VOX-3

The connector on the back of the VOX-3 is nothing more then a 9 pin tube
socket. Those plugs were common on a number mobile Hi-Fi stereos and as
part of internal wiring harnesses for tape recorders back in the 70's.
Kenwood used them on a number of their amateur products in the 70's. The
plug has been out of production for years. However, you might be able to
find some 9 pin tube socket extenders that you could use with some minor
physical modifications. There is also a mod to improve its sensitivity.
